Quick, everyone go home early
About noon yesterday an office-wide email was sent around practically begging everyone to leave early in order to avoid getting stuck because of the typhoon. And what a typhoon it was last night. No wind. No rain. Just unbearable humidity.
I suppose several train lines were stopped, but none of the ones near me were. I should have stayed a little longer to work on my current project, I'm getting a little behind, I feel. Instead, I left early to be safe. It turns out, for nothing.
However, it was interesting to be the last person in the office at 5:30.
What's with all the natural disasters happening here in Japan? Last weekend was a big earthquake, yesterday was a typhoon. Next up, Godzilla.
