Inundated with work

For the past 3 months, I've been working solo on a driver project for one of our favorite customers. The first couple months of designing and coding went smoothly and I had a very strong base to work from when the hardware and base sources arrived about a month ago. Since the hardware came, I've just been too busy to think about anything else.

The only time I really have to relax is on the train rides to and from work. I wish it were easy to relax at home, but I leave there in the morning and don't get back until after midnight. But those two hours of personal time on the train are nice, no matter how many people I have to share it with.

In order to not waste my time on the train daydreaming and deciphering Japanese advertisements, I'm trying to work my way through The Rand Corporation's 50 books for thinking about the future list.

I'm through Guns, Germs, and Steel and am slowly working my way through Collapse. Then on to Thinking About the Future In the Past!

At this rate, it will take me about 8 months to finish all the books that I can afford. Happy reading!
